Author Guidelines

Writing Guidelines for Al-Mujtama’: Cordoba Journal of Community Empowerment

Language

  • Manuscripts may be written in either Indonesian or English.

  • The text should use clear, academic, and effective language.

Types of Manuscripts

  • Research articles.

  • Community service/empowerment articles.

  • Critical literature reviews relevant to community empowerment.

Manuscript Format

  • Length: 4,000 – 7,000 words.

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).

  • Spacing: 1.5; Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt; Margin: 2.5 cm.

  • Manuscripts should be structured as follows:

    1. Title (in both Indonesian and English).

    2. Author’s name, affiliation, and email.

    3. Abstract (150–250 words, with 3–5 keywords).

    4. Introduction.

    5. Method.

    6. Results and Discussion.

    7. Conclusion and Suggestions.

    8. References (APA 7th edition).

Publication Ethics

  • Manuscripts must be original, free from plagiarism, and not previously published.

  • Authors are required to cite sources properly in accordance with citation standards.

  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Submission of Manuscripts

  • Articles are accepted only through the OJS system on the official website of Al-Mujtama’: Cordoba Journal of Community Empowerment.

  • Authors must register and log in before submitting their manuscripts.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
