Peningkatan Keterampilan Kewirausahaan Berbasis Bahan Lokal untuk Mendukung Wisata Alam Potre Koning, Bondowoso
Abstract
This community service activity involved the residents of Sumbercanting Village, Wringin District, Bondowoso
Regency, who have creative business potential to support the Laskar Arak-arak Tourism Awareness Group
(Pokdarwis) in managing the Potre Koning Nature Tourism. The partners' main problem was the lack of
souvenirs and culinary specialties that could become the tourism identity. The solution offered was training in
making iconic souvenirs and processing culinary delights from local ingredients that could be marketed at tourist
sites. This activity aimed to form micro-business groups capable of producing craft products such as key chains,
arts and crafts, and culinary specialties, thereby strengthening the concept of community-based ecotourism. The
implementation method included preparation, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The preparation stage was
carried out through field observations to map the community's potential and obstacles, followed by the
formulation of a mentoring activity plan. Mentoring was carried out regularly through training in souvenir
making, attractive product packaging and labeling, and simple digital marketing strategies. The results of the
activity showed an increase in community skills in producing products with market value and expanding
marketing networks. In conclusion, this program has successfully encouraged the economic independence of the
Sumbercanting Village community through the development of creative products based on local materials that
support the attractiveness and sustainability of Potre Koning Nature Tourism.
